M1e3

US would only get M1A2 SEP V3 next (SEP V4 if we are lucky) which i don’t see being added any time soon (maybe towards the end of this year)

Ok what even the main difference between the Abrams X and M1E3?

IIRC Abram X was a TD and M1E3 would be the tank that would replace Abram (Unless M1E3 is also cancelled)

Thanks, I’ll hold off on upgrading the crew for SEP v2 for now. I remember SEP v3 has an active protection system and depleted uranium armor, which I need to defend against Russian tank high-explosive rounds and missiles. If Gaijin can add the data correctly, America will be great again!

Everything put on the M1E3 at the show was just for show. They’re getting redesigned hulls, brand new turrets (That will look somewhat different to the classic design), and it’s likely going to have the 30mm that was featured on the AbramsX. The Javelin was just for show since there’s no point for it.

I’d love to see both a showcase turret and production turret variant get added, or get a modification for both.

It’ll be a while before we see that. The current E3 was showing off the crew setup and how the tank would operate more than anything else.

they probably will

the proxy fuse for the 30mm (which has been shown on many recent commander weapon stations) with radar aiming would be very good against drones

Would be ideal, but they would also have to install radar sensors all over the tank.

The most possible and economic route they are gonna take its Iron Fist APS tho. Just as the bradley.

Not really, they could possibly leverage the driver’s all-round camera’s to co-axial radar for threats to handoff for interception.

It (especially the turret) looks pathetic…

qwq i want my javelinbrams

It would come in weaker than the sepv2. Rather wait until it’s further along.

This is just a technology demonstrator it’s not the final product. So it has 3 seats side by side in the hull with all tankers able to drive and gun off their own control consoles, no fuel tank protection in the front. Still has the same armour I’d guess, Still has the same 1500horsepower Honeywell turbine, it has the ability to kneel with the removal of torsion bar suspension and it’s around 60 tons with an auto loader. It will probably have greatly improved upper glacis plates and of course the RMWS with Javalin, Grenade launcher and .50cal.
I’d say it has the latest thermals and IRST targeting for it’s programmable ammo.

Slinger system would be cool addition to the game. They’ll have to fix the 30mm rounds missing their frag pattern. ( It got removed from Apache’s)

It’s just a test bed, it’s not the final product. Still has legacy motor, I doubt the rear of the turret bustle is even armoured. I listed what it has with a reply to Scarlett.

Just for show at a show, it’s perfectly possible for the purposes of an event vehicle. It’s a gimped version of what the final build will be. Basically the same RMWS mount that the JLTV’s use with all of the above weapons and M2 Browning, M134 and M230 long-barrel 30mm, Javlin, 40mm grenade launcher, M240.
