The amount of hair splitting you’re doing is fun. Military wouldn’t “prepare it” at the manufacturing level if it was not going to be a kit they’d use.
Sounds modular, so they can remove it if they dont need it for the mission set.
M829A3 is just overall worse than A2 as it isnt doing what its supposed to and its slower

I think what most people fail to understand is the war is for the arms manufacturing money and rare earths/oil. Since ww2 its only ever been about making money, not winning a conflict.
But yeah, if we are looking at it from a civvie stand point you’re right.

Future mission capabilities is something militaries hardbake into their combat designs because they plan on using them a long time. This means fitting them for future mission packages they haven’t even developed yet.

And im pretty sure on release it had 695mm at 10m now it got 698 at 10m, idk when the 3mm buff happened but buff for other darts is a big no
