Funny to see the corpse of an Abrams thread being used to talk about stuff with actual sources to be found tbh
The curse of all US equipment threads, to just become a thread about another nation’s vehicles.
lol
M1A2 did not receive any hull armor upgrade due to weight concern, SE2 were postponed to be incorporated in SEP.
Based on all the available data I could find, I believe the armor scheme should be something like TCA.

Additionally all Abrams variant that were produced after 2000 should receive Improved Side Armor, which increase CE performance by 250%

And all Abrams variant that were produced after 2013 should have DU in its turret side armor.

M1A2 SEPv2 also received additional upgrade for its turret frontal armor.
Looks like you got more than enough sources for bug report.
Do you know the date of these?
Depending on the date you can prove whether late SEPv2 got NEA or if these docs are related to SEPv3.
Contract W56HZV-12-C-0322 was awarded to GDLS in late September, 2012.
Can confirm it’s SEPv2.
Someone already did few years back.
Dev just casually wave it off by saying that "FY2001 is too vague, we can’t determine which spefic model should these upgrades apply to"🤥
Nothing I post is new to Gaijin.
To my acknowledge they got at least a half dozen bug reports regarding to the ITSA.
Dev just sit on the issue for years.

Damn…
No!
Its prior to SEPv3 so thats enough
This is why I always get angry.
+Hey, this is wrong, can you fix it?
-Just do a bug report.
+It was made; over a year ago, and accepted. But there it still remains, unfixed.
-Devs can’t fix everything instantly.
+One thing is “everything instantly”, and another thing is to leave things unfixed for years; it’s very important, and it’s just-
-We just fixed the ammo count of a tank’s co-axial machine gun. See? We fix bugs, the one you are interested in will eventually come.
+But it’s objectively more important tha-
-Nuh uh, just because you are personally interested in the main Top Tier tanks of the game to be accurately represented for both historical and balance reasons it doesn’t mean it’s actually more important than the wrong caliber of this tank’s smoke grenades. Move along.
It’s unfunny because it’s true…
Some concerns/questions regarding Materials License reports:
First one states: A. 275,000 kg, but only for the turret frontal armor packages, and B. 25 kg for turret side armor.
Second one states turret side armor, but A. is limited to 4535 kg whereas B. is limited to 25 kg.
Surely those weight figures for side armor are drastically too low to be of any practical use in armor plates?
Do you have the full contract? I´m going through DoD´s database and they only have contracts starting 2014
Nah, you got it wrong.
Turret and hull front armor has its own license ie:SUB-1536
This one is for turret side armor only.
A. For use (excluding repair and maintenance) and storage during removal of side armor turret and
installation of new side armor in M1 series tanks.
B. Contamination resulting from removal of side armor turret in M1 series tanks.
Unfortunately no 😕
Though I don´t interpret from the material licence that the new side turret is supposed to have DU elements (I don´t see the practical benefits of that). Rather, and given the timeline, all turret armor is to be dismounted, frontal HAP-3 replaced with NEA and side turret module with an improved array.
