Yeah thats basically as much as the M26 and IS-2 and IS-3 heavy tanks.
And according to categorization by guns the caliber of 105mm is in the region of heavy tanks.
Its almost twice the weight of the medium tank CV90 105. And therefore clearly has to be a heavy tank.

It’s definitely designed for taking out tanks. Not sure if you know what a 105 is used for but it’s not soft targets I can tell you that.
