The firepower is the worst for MBT’s at it’s tier with M774 as it’s top tier shell it is very frustrating when you nonpen the LFP of T-series tanks
It reloads faster than most at this BR so some people would say that it has high firepower. The real downside is obviously the penetration but you can still pen most weakspots and for 10.7 its one of your only downsides

But with the turret ring nerf it rly should be 10.3 I hate it while living it bc the turret ring eats 3BM42 somehow.
only thing that should really happen is it getting better ammo, it shouldn’t go down in br
What better ammo can it get?
Edit: M900 would make it a higher B.R. and we already have the IPM1 so maybe M883?
M833 would be a minor but definitely an upgrade, and hardly enough to warrant a higher BR since its basically just slightly worse than 120mm DM23

but then ground tt need decompression so
uptier mean u face 3bm46 or 3bm60, which mean ur a glass cannon most of the time

Even as is M1 is more 10.7 than 10.3. Its just outclassed by uptiers against the Type 90 and sorts.

The first M1 Abrams rotor material is incorrect, the rotor is fabricated from a slab instead of CHA. If implemented, the gun mantlet gets a small buff ~10mm.

I advise you to avoid getting headaches with this discussion for example they put ariete amv pt2 12.0 but it could easily stay with the 10.7 with the armor it has

it’s a decent tank at 10.7. The round is effectively subpar, as arguably the armor. But the mobility its top. And the gun handling is good to get the job done.
I’d suggest you using the vehicle with a light tank mentality, otherwise you’ll just rack up more frustrations in the future.

The M1 isnt bad by any means and its actually my favorite of all the abrams since the higher up ones get less enjoyable to play due to various issues
But i do feel that giving it M774 kinda makes no sense compared to M833 which would still be slightly worse than other shells at the br
M833 is barely an upgrade over it yet M774 is the best round it can get
Ive seen other people suggest adding M900 to it too but imo thats way too far since its in a completely different performance bracket and it would invalidate the M1IP later on if gaijin gave it
