These tanks still have poor reverse speed, thats why they put stuff on the back of the tank for additional protection.

M84AS2 Statcard on Partner exhibition in 2023 Belgrade showed max. speed of 60 km/s
That’s pretty fast.
To make it sure its not reverse speed, nothing was showed about it so we can conclude its stayed same as M84A
The M-84AS2/3 will have hard-kill APS “Iron Fist”. This was revealed recently during the meeting of Serbian president with MOD. Hopefully we get more info on it. Seems like Serbia chose to cooperate with Israel on diverse military systems and weaponry.

Was APS on M-84 on parade this year in working condition then or not?
To me it more resembled GL-6
Unfortunately that part hasn’t been recorded it seems, however it is mentioned on website of Tanjug and cited by military Telegram channel that is close to government.

It was a mockup of GL-6, it looked like a 3D printed model, so during the parade it had no functioning APS.
I will try to unlock Tanjug links somehow, and post more when I find.
