no, its all round better in armament and stuff, I think this should have been added instead of the OCU to be on par with F16s of other nations ingame. OCU is the worst of the AMRAAM slinging falcons

The CMs aren’t even really a difference, since both have 4 dispensers of 30 each (so 120 total), Gaijin just got the OCU wrong. Same thing for the AMRAAM and HMD that the OCU also both never integrated.

Maybe all Thai aircraft can equip the KGGB, since even this older F-16B seems to be able to carry it.

OCU couldn’t carry AMRAAMs + IRIS-T, has a worse radar, lack of HMD + TGP., It can replace the current OCU in game at 13.7, while the OCU moves down to 13.0 w/o AMRAAMs

It did, but one without thermals. So the one it has in game (unless they changed it) is correct.

Yeah, it’s a lot

  • It’s missing half the countermeasure dispensers it has. There is meant to be another two AN/ALE-40 dispensers behind the left wing.
  • It got AMRAAMs, despite being the only Thai F-16 variant (excluding twin-seat OCUs) that couldn’t. This is more weird considering the same update introduced the Thai Gripen at the same 13.7 BR, so it would have been more needed at a lower BR anyways.
  • It’s still missing some air to ground armament, even if it got better since release. Mainly GBU-16 which are on one of the most well known photos of it.
  • The AN/APG-66S radar doesn’t exist, it’s based on a typo. The actual radar it’s meant to have is AN/APG-66(V)1.
  • It got Israeli missiles which are only mentioned to be integrated on twin-seat F-16B OCUs from what I could find. The same goes for the HMD, which is either taken from the same twin-seat OCUs (only written source here, not even a photo iirc) or the later (e)MLU.
