I’ve been wanting an AH-56 for so long now! Not only would it be great for heli PVE, but it looks like it could make a great 10.0 option aswell.

The above image is from what I believe to be 1966, this should be a full scale mockup created sometime around March, the landing gear and pylons are the same as the ones in the other image with the bombs, so is the sensor suite underneath the gunners seat. From what I can make out it also has a 4 bladed pusher propeller. In 1966 the Shillelagh missile was being considered for infantry and helicopter uses, and that’s why I believe it says it here.
Still haven’t found a reason it was shown off with those weapons though.
A mention of the 12 TOW missile loadout is also seen in this paper from the Pennsylvania US Army War College from February 28th 1972:
Now I doubt it was ever officially cleared for use with 4 pods, BUT: I also haven’t seen anything saying it couldn’t use more than 2 pods.
Just some food for thought I suppose.
