Based off my name alone I won’t take ANY lightning slander. I understand it’s hard to use which is why I like using it, but it’s not “bad”. I’ve got like 4000 deaths and 9 thousand kills or something mental in the f.53 variant by playing it differently from everyone else.
People say to boom and zoom, don’t. It’s boring and doesn’t work well. I side climb till about 5k and come in over the top of everyone from the left. I look for a furball where people are distracted and fire off a redtop from around 4km. Depending on how much higher you are redtops can hit up to 5km if you’re lucky.
Once my missiles are out, I dogfight. Doing this above 1km in altitude is a death sentence , but if you do it within that height and always angle yourself to lose altitude when turning you hardly lose any speed and actually outturn alot of fighters. I’ve won against competent mig19 players multiple times lol
I get it though, until you get the red tops it’s quite a shit plane to fly, my kdr in the f.6 was way way way worse than the f.53 for the whole stock reason
