While making this model i realised there were actually TWO models under consideration/construction
A luft-luft (air-air) LFK-NG and a boden-luft (ground-air) LFK-NG
the main differences i found were that the ground to air variant had larger main wing area as well as around 4 TVC jets on the mid section of the missile. i assume these were to orient the missile since the ground to air variant was mostly planned to be vertically launched. hence the flight pattern would been like the Tor missle but with IR guidance.
