"Leviathans" Update Trailer!

Don’t think those were longbow hellfires even though it might have the radar for it.

didn’t see it 😇

Some of them are outranged by CAS in theory, but for a good kill probability for most CAS weapons the planes definitely need to get into the new SAMs range.

Keeping my fingers crossed that if the Comanche is added it isn’t a premium…

Let me guess the swiss tree. Bold are existing, italic are missing.

  • BF109E4 - BR3
  • P-51D (Various versions) BR4-6.3
  • Vampire
  • Venom
  • FFA-P16 - BR9
  • Hunter Mk58A - BR9
  • Hunter F.58 Squadron - BR9.7
  • Mirage IIIS - BR10.3
  • F-5E Tiger II - BR11.3
  • F-18 Hornet (1997 Early) - BR12.3
  • F-18 Hornet (Upgrade21) - BR14.0
  • F-18 Hornet (Upgrade25) - BR14.0
  • F35A (DOA model) with wrong engine - BR90
  • F35A (early) with replaced engine - BR99

I looked closely again at the Swiss aircraft lined up in the trailer: The Hunter to the left is definitely the Squadron vehicle we already have (J-4020), the one to the right could be a new one, or just another skin (J-4015?).

Hornets seem to be two variants, one with birdslicer in front of canopy (left one), the other without, suggesting it’s two variants.

You got Air Arcade Battles, Air Realistic battles AND air simulator battles to enjoy flying your planes in without untoward resistance.

If you want a more objective oriented, slow paced game come join us in sim.

Idk about arcade, am told objectives are also the key to win there.

Not wanting to play ARB is fair. It’s only marignally better than GRB air combat due to larger map and no random ticket bleed, but objective design still ruins it.

Seems pretty accurate, especially with the lack of Pilatus aircraft

The Air Tree is the only downside due to the large number being CnP but the Ground Tree is far more promising (110+ vehicles, 75% of that is unique/uniquely modified). It also is more diverse then for example Israel, so making them subs would be a waste of 2 countries that invest a lot in arms.

There is also an suggestion for it. However im derailing the topic so let’s focus on it again :).

I’d say AI plane bot swarms (looks like groups of 10, look how they maneuver at 0:35 around the ships) is a pretty big change to naval gameplay actually :)

Question now is if they’re part of the scenario like in Air games, or a killstreak award, possibly player controlled, a little like Ground AB.

All that AA gonna make some graphics cards go “nnnnnnnnnnggggggg” tho.

I don’t know if I can agree that the US doesn’t need it. Being one of the older nations in the game, I would imagine a large portion of its main playerbase has unlocked everything. So a sub tree would be at least be beneficial in that aspect. And 15 vehicles seems plenty when considering it has to fit within a singular line. Maybe not right now but I could see it in the not-so-distant future.

US. Its the SLAMRAAM \o/

Not sure if anyone linked it yet.

It has far more vehicles so limiting them to 15 is a complete waste for a country with a big arms industry.

However let’s remain on topic again as i derailed it a bit :).

ngl i expected more of gaijin, generic slop track

It does make me wonder, what happened to Pandramodo. I know they were hired by Gaijin but haven’t seen anything since their Air Superiority video. Im sure they’ve had a hand in some of these teasers but still. Kinda miss their flavor of War Thunder cinema. Hope their doing well.
