OK, am I the only one that watched this and started a reference counter to other things?
Some of it slapped me in the teen gaming years.

Lets us quickly have a look at the Swiss F-18C (1997) and Upgrade21 armament and systems. Lot of people are asking themselves what the difference between the premium would (could) be.
When we bought the F-18C/D (early) we acquired them with the AIM-9P5 (IRCCM) and the AIM-120B as part of the Rüstungsprogram (RP92)
Swiss F/A-18 C/D (1997)
The aircraft was able to carry 2x AIM-9P5 and up to 4x LL Lwf AIM-120B.
There was no JHMCS, but an early HMD, which was having basic HUD information on one eye.
Swiss F/A-18 C/D (Upg21 - 2004 to 2009)
- Aside from modification to avionics ECM and others the weapons were added
- JHMCS was added with new helmets
- Hardpoints were modified
- Aircraft was now able to carry up to 6x AIM-9X and up to 10x LL Lwf AIM-120B
Swiss F/A-18 C/D (Upg25)
- AIM-120B were partially replaced by AIM-120C7 (Documented as part of RP11 on admin.ch)
- Superhornet cockpits and avionics were introduced
- New GPS A/G capabilities were introduced. Switzerland has no ammunition however.
- AN/APG-73 was replacing the older radar
I assume, that my best guess, GJ will give us the 1997 model as premium and the Upg21 as regular tree. The Upg25 will not see light in this update.

I think that we won’t see another premium with AMRAAMs(at least for now I hope), and maybe gaijin will make up a loadout for the 1997 version with AIM-7Ms probably
GJ always claims that they are having the most realistic wargame. Well, then reality for Switzerland is AIM-120B ;-)

Buddy devs don’t care about a single person’s opinion, they probably won’t even read this, if you’re trying to send a message this isn’t the way

I wonder if the 9X will only be on HMMVV . Maybe they give it to the AH1Z too, sorta like a test. Just like it was with 9L back a while ago
This datamine from gzabi would indicate that there aren’t gonna be canadian hornets for the UK (F-18C early)

The US F-18C early is at 12.3 and the Swiss at 12.7 with exactly the same weaponry ???
