A lot of ships have teritary guns in the 76 to 105mm caliber which, such as the Marat, Warspite, Scharnhorst, Kronshtadt, and more
These contribute a significant amount to the power of a ships secondary armaments, yet we are unable to determine which shells they can fire, or even see what shells they fire. For all I know those 76mm cannons are firing HE-TF ammo which is completely useless against ships as they explode above or below them. It would be nice if we could switch them to firing AP or SAP rounds if available.
Cant you see that if you switch to controlling those secondary guns?
Only for secondary guns, I’m talking about teritary (auxiliary) guns, which are basically the guns smaller than the secondary and main guns, but bigger than all the small AA autocannons and machineguns.
For example, the 76mm cannons on the Marat, Des Moines, Newport News, Texas
Or the
Or the 105mm cannons on the Scharnhorst, Bismark, Gneisenau
Or the 127mm AA cannons on the Mississippi, Texas, Colorado
Or the 100mm cannons on the Kronshdadt, Arkhangelsk, Sevastopol, Sovetsky Soyuz
I can probably compile even more examples. Point being, you cannot select the ammo used by these guns or even see what kind of ammo they fire, even if switch to firing auxiliary weapons. The also usually make of half of the smaller cannons on a ship, so not being able to choose the ammo for them makes them useless against other ships
