Last night I had the stutters return, my game would hold a frame for roughly 30 seconds, also have been having atrocious packet loss, another issue I’ve never had. I’m on a 13700k and a 4080. I played all up until yesterday without a single hitch after disabling highlights. Last night it happened 3 times in a match, I hadn’t even been on an hour. I ended up just getting off. I’ll try doing a diag file. But with my luck won’t have any issues with it tonight.
Its also worse for me…
Especially if vsync was on (i have a gsync display).
Its smoother using the framerate limit in nvidia CP, but I still feel like there are microstutters frequently.
It was tolerable for me but it’s gotten unplayable today. Getting 20-30 FPS at the main menu with DX12 RT on 1440p on a 5090.
I don’t have an F11 key. So how do I do this?
This would seem to be the cause of the problem, not the result.
I just logged in and have 20 fps in hangar. Why?
Nvidia had a driver update release yesterday. Played for a couple hours after work. Micro stutters were there but not as severe. Didn’t have my game lock up fortunately. I understand it’s a day but, could potentially be something to mitigate the issues.
The game is unplayable now, I’m getting 20 fps in hangar with 5080.
almost 1 month after the major update and still no update from gaijin if this is even still being worked on.
Yep. Was hoping the fix to the hangar FPS drops would also mean a fix for in-game, but no.
Newer maps since Breslau, as well as most reworked ones, often have low and unstable FPS for me — ranging from 25–30 to 70–80 FPS. (RTX 3060 laptop), old maps still good.
I have written a more general post about this and perhaps, it would draw more attention if we find people who would write something there as well. It is a more general, perhaps a letter, to Gaijin so to speak. Could us some support and the link is here:
can’t wait for another map to become unplayable with the next update
They do not happen at the same time. I have the normal high packet loss result. Tanks float, mine does weird things. The game locking up happens even when my ping and pl both were perfectly fine. Only way I’ve gotten the game playable is disabling any form of game capture. Ping and pl issue is still there. Seems a bit better after the last patch
yeah, it’s happening to me too. it’s been happening for over 3 months now. when I first started playing the game I used to have around 120fps with medium graphics and then it suddenly dropped at 30 fps (idk why or how) so I decided to put down the graphics level and put it to low. it changed nothing, to be honest it made it even worse, after a couple updates my game just dropped to 15 fps (even 8 fps) and I’m quitting the game because I can’t play anymore, it’s just stutter here and stutter there.
be sure that your not the only one , me and my friend have been having this issue just like you, at this point gaijin just doesn’t care about the playerbase that doesn’t have very high end pcs …
i’ve changed my direct12(beta) to direct 11 and solve it
Still an issue now?

Playing game normally no problem watching task manger with NOTHING else opened or running (anything NOT important). Stutter from 185FPS to 40FPS for about 1- 1.5secs, this happens every 15-20secs and makes the game nearly impossible to play due to being On target one sec, stuttering, and SLAMMING into the target at 400mph. This is persisting WHILE in the hanger as well just idle constant GPU usage drop. Newest Drivers for BIOS and chipset - newest Nvidia drivers - funny part is i did the same thing on my old rig (clean wipe upgrade to win 11) with my 3080ti and NO problems whatsoever.
Last thing to try is the “nvidia shader cache files?” whatever that is.
try turning down effects setting i notice for me when theres alot of friendly or dead thanks near by or vehicles in a scene shooting with smoke fire etc the effects setting just drops the fps and tanks it to point its stuttering at a solid 1-5 fps
