the issue is most russian tanks suck mate.
The T80BVM is about the onnly good one at top tier. T90M is mediocre at best.

Leopards are still OP af man xD hell the easiest top tier ive played is hte 2a5 and 2a6 never mind the 2a7.
Its not unrealisti at all, the T72 in 1972 was able to achieve about 8 rounds a minute with the carousel system, work that out. so it works out at just under 7.5 seconds, now that is information from the Bovington tank museums tank chats, which give us rough estimates on these things.
The gun position is included in the reload rate that you were shown above. the gun can move into the reload position from as far as im aware in the clyclogram within the 7.1 second frame.
I think he is just refusing to read that.
Chinese auto loaders already have reports showing they reload too slow in the game as it is. so if this went in and reduced reloads I’d welcome it

The tank has to be A stationary and B the dude does get tired. they have to remain within a certain frame sure but slinging about 20KG every four seconds is difficult to maintain.
7.5 seconds is its longest reload time, about 8 rounds a minute, as per the tank museum T72 tank chat
You brought it up mate, about russian elevation and traverse speed, was merely telling you its not that good.
and the Fact the leopard got its historical and correct depression safety values so the barrel cant bash the engine deck isn’t something thats bad to have in game, it also means the leopards have at least some disadvantages.

Yeah, longest for consecutive shells. Switching ammo types will add on some extra time.
But in 99% of situations, you’re just loading APFSDS which will grab from the next cassette anyway.

Leo 2a5 is the weakest 12.0 by far
And other non 2a7 is also weak

I like playing the Ariete’s, but the Leopards are definitely better
If you compare it to 2a7 it feels like a why spawn, and if you dont play other nations at top tier its hard to realize how good your 3rd/4th spawn 12.0 really is (used to be me).
That’s just the consequence of having so many good 12.0’s in top tier Germany. That even something as great as the 2A5 becomes a 4th spawn.
Lowe power to weight
Much better reverse speed
Much better thermals
Laser warning reserver
Better reload speed
Both could be penetrated from the front by everyday at top tier only that the Leo 2 have some armor in the turret front in change of the other advantages of the ariete
Franc have the exact same tank 4 time’s without any sacrifice
The main point is that gun depression nerf isn’t necessary and should be removed
Really, the only meaningful thing there is the laser warning and the reload. Great to have, but not overall better than the versatility of the 2A5…man, why are there people who seriously think the 2A5 is worse than the Ariete…

Thermal res makes almost zero practical difference.
There’s diminishing returns to actual practical benefit. Going from no thermals to gen 1 is a massive benefit, gen 1 to 2 is pretty tiny, and going from gen 2 to gen 3 is completely pointless.
Don’t forget the terrut basket and other shit
Compined with the depression I would trade a2a5 with the ariete
