I’m finally hearing different opinions and yeah it’s seemingly bad due to two things that concern me, hull armor and turret weakspots. I’m still planning to go for it but I guess I’ll have to expect myself to get annihilated even if I manage to find a hull-down spot, something that could save Abrams & T-80 due to their turrets not having such large holes at least. I mean everyone pens Abrams hull too but the UFP seems to always ricochet APFSDS and has big fuel tanks instead of ammo box. I’m just wondering should I expect a bad vehicle or not, for such a high BR
Going up to 12.0 wouldn’t really be the end of the world since it’s used as a backup vehicle anyway and almost never sees downtiers
Any vehicle with a decent gun and good mobility can be made to work, so it certainly isn’t bad. Just know that it won’t be anywhere close to a Strv 122 when you unlock it.
From the initial testing I’ve done it seems that it’s one of the most mobile 11.7’s, so it’s got that going for it.
526mm of penetration @ 500m isn’t impressive for 11.7, especially with M829A2 around, but it’s still enough to go through any weakspots of any MBT you meet.
Usually you’re also able to overmatch side armour at which point your pen doesn’t really matter too much anyways.
Beside this 2PL should get its spalliners and DM53/63 to still be viable at top tier and be good pick
