the norwegian 2a8 lacks the mine resistance, you didnt buy it for the weight reduction

we got the official confirmation, while the norwegian side skirts do in fact appear bigger then the german ones, its cause the side skirts are only storage for snow grousers.
From recent 2a8 arrivials in norwegian

Any plans for Germany to possibly get the bigger side skirts? Honestly I kinda dig the look of them.
Also the German one is getting MUSS APS right or did I get that wrong?

German 2a8 is getting MUSS LWS.
There is projects for 2a7V and 2aX to receive MUSS 2.0 APS

+1 would be great for filling Sweden’s inevitable techtree gap as the 123a and b aren’t coming out for a while, unless gaijin decides to add a guesswork 123a/b, even then the more the better
yeah, no way would gaijin do any guesswork that could benefit a NATO nation, let alone Sweden

the 123a is pretty easy guesswork its a 122 with an l/55 but yea gaijins nato guesswork would end with the 123b having aluminum armor and dm23

Oh, it would absolutely be easy, but they wont do it, and im guessing we’ll have to wait at least 6 months before we get either of them after they enter service
they’ll probably add them with the 2a8s and sepv3 and whatever the commies get but it would just be a copy and paste 2a8 as Sweden hasn’t disclosed what they’re changing if much. but the 123a is not a new tank but a package that can be added to any 122, so we could at least get those, and maybe if we never ask for anything else again we could get the 123 version of the b+ since its theoretically possible
