those are storage compartments for tracks, not armor, one article talks about this as well
Problem is the dev does not believe it and doesnt see that its hollow to fit the tracks in.,… and the one source alone is not enough cause its secondary…

Is it possible for Germany to acquire a new Leopard 2A8? It is the version equipped with Muss 2.0. Currently, the game clearly provides the German version without laser warning, while the issue section does not accept reports that the German L2A8 should be equipped with laser warning.Perhaps it should adopt a similar approach to the T90M and T90M Arena, releasing two versions.
the German 2A8 currently has no LWS because they’re developing their own LWS instead of using Israel LWS that is installed on the 2A8NO. that being said, considering how early the current 2A8 is for germany and they’re still under trial and test by the Bundeswehr, chances are we “COULD” get an extra 2A8 for germany.
the German 2A8 has both no LWS and no Roof MG, it is clearly not the service model that germany will use. its just a test model.
either that or my copium is exploding through the roof, considering the fact Sweeden for cute reason will very likely in the future have 3 Leo2A8-like tanks, and Germany could have only one (hopefuly NOT. RIGHT!? GAIJIN!?!?)

Gaijin’s current approach is really disappointing 😔 I really like German tanks, but Gaijin always gives the better Leopard 2s to everyone else. Would you believe that to fully experience all the mainstream variants of a single tank, you have to grind at least three nations’ tech trees 😭 I just want to give Miss Leopard 2 a complete life 😾

The LWS of Muss is very likely planned.
The new generation soft kill APS LDRCIM is currently not planned for the 2a8.
It is getting installed on the 2a7V and future tested for leo 3. no confirmation for leo2a8
newest sources actualy are saying that the Strv123A/B are not ordered with APS,

You know what, they’ve returned all the issues in the issue section that the German Leopard 2a8 should be equipped with a laser warning system. Obviously, they don’t want to give Germany a main battle with a laser warning system. They only recognized the old version of the Leopard 2a8, which was not equipped with muss, and all the issues we raised were rejected. I have no hope that the Leopard 2a8 currently obtained by Germany will add laser alarms. I can only hope that they will release a new version of the Leopard 2a8 with muss 😭😭😭
