For you a single vehicle along with the other 2 variants is enough to represent 4th generation?
I’m talking about new vehicles not dumb modernization like we have each major with new top tier vehicles.

We also should get the 2a7+ to go with it.
I think we have to wait until vehicles of similiar capability are added first before we see this or the A7A1. If Gaijin focus more on ground in the mid year updates the earliest could be December if at all this year
The A7A1 could be added now with no problem. It’s just a A7 with Trophy APS but no additional Hull armour like the A7V. (Most noticeable at the front where upper and lower plate meet)

What is that blade thing on the wedge armour infront of the loader? I’ve seen it as an accessory for a RC tank but haven’t been able to find out what it is, it looks like it holds smoke grenades on a shield but I’m not sure
those are actually fire simulators for training.
they kinda have blanks inside which simulate the noise of the firing of the main gun

i mean im just talking the usual use case but maybe they are the same calibre as the smoke grenades and can be used for them too

I’ve seen in the long name on Aliexpress (that’s the only place that exports the RCs tanks to SA) and in the long set of words, letters and numbers that it also said smoke grenades, so maybe it’s used for both? I also thought they would use blanks or regular rounds to simulate mg fire

They’re smaller caliber than the smoke grenades but yup, they are for simulating firing during exercises typically with “OPFOR” units or other country’s.

Looking back the A7A1 could be added right now, but what’s the point of it. I feel like the decreased armour makes it a sidegrade to the A7V. I’d much rather have the A8 which will perform vastly better than the A7V and set a standard for a new top tier br

germany needs this new tank! Since leopard 2a7v joined the game , there has no top-tier tank joined germany’s tech tree , let this new tank makes germany great again :D
