I respect your decision not to add the LWS as you modeled the tank that was shown alongside the norwegian one, instead of the Eurosatory vehicle, BUT
I hope the LWS gets added ingame somehow ( either model change or Leopard 2A8 version 2028 or whatever) once the LWS meant for the tank in real life finishes testing and gets fitted to the already produced tanks, and i hope we won’t have to wait for 18 months after the fact.
( Also the Eurosatory vehicle would make a really cool addition to the game.)

There are no production tanks, so far. Germany has a handful of pre production models for testing.
as far as i am aware production is starting and to not delay production they went ahead without the LWS and will add it later ? ( as far as i am aware the intended LWS i still being tested.) as far as i am aware. any info is welcome.
They aren’t starting production without the lws.

I never complaied about m/95 it was already insanly strong gaijin on their bullsahir right there. I wont complain that they did it nice buff but not needed
I don’t get Gajin’s take. Its 100% sure the final service tank will have LWS and some other features. Its 100% sure the rollout model was just a testbed.
Why can’t they just release the vehicle in its supposed service version? Instead of throwing a very basic tank with 30 yo ammunition into the game. Then better wait. I don’t wan’t an unfinished preproduction tank which barely left the assembly line to do certification work.

What would be the difference betwene the 2A8 and the STRV 123B? Besides the swedish applying their own internal systems
Probably nothing.
If it’s not going to get LWS/MUSS then devs should make it clear that this is an “Early” pre-production variant to avoid wasting efforts trying to bug report its missing features.

I figured as so, back then the Sweds had the roof armor and extra hull armor composites added on that made the 122s differnet, now everyone is getting the same thing with the 2A8’s
I mean since the B hasnt been shown yet we dont know, it will depend what options FMV are adding to it and what they will omit
We can make guesses from what we have seen on the STRV 123A though
per example they are likley featuring the roof armour add on since the 123A has it
