Yes but that does not mean that the 2A8 is Currently in Service since The 2A7A1 Is A Stop Gap Vehicle To the 2A8! And to Convince that the image i sent is a 2A7A1 lets look at the Evidence at hand.
1: The Smoke Launchers:
Both have 12 Launchers but on the 2A7A1 its 4 on the Side of the turret and 2 on the Trophy while on the 2A8 all Launchers are at the same location.
Leopard 2A8:

Leopard 2A7A1:

2nd Point: Roof Armor
The Leopard 2A8 has the additional Anti Bomblet Roof Armor as seen on say the Strvs while the 2A7A1 Does not.

Leopard 2A7A1:
3: Add on Armor
As you know the Leopard 2A8 has the added on Armor as the Leopard 2A7V while the Leopard 2A7A1 does not (since its a upgraded Leopard 2A6MA3 upgraded to Leopard 2A7 standards Note: Not The V Version)
Leopard 2A8:
Smooth has no gap from the between the Upper and Middle Front Plate.
Leopard 2A7A1:

(Even in the last image i sent you can clearly see the lack of frontal protection)
4th and last: Introduction:
The Leopard 2A8 has been Announced in November 2025 (as you may know) and as stated by the Bundeswehr the Tank Brigades will Only get their tanks in 2027, while the Leopard 2A7A1Β΄s Introduction was announced end of October 2024 (an Entire Year before the 2A8 had its Introduction).
Note: What i mean with Introduction is Not the Service Introduction but rather the Announcement Introduction for the Roll-Outs.
