It is not yet known what the completed modernization will look like, we only have 2 images that could be the official ones for now, the first was the model that was seen during FIDAE 2024 in Chile where the improvements are highlighted in orange color (LWS, remote SARP turret, 360° situational awareness, new sights for the driver, gunner and commander). now, The second image shows a turret in Turkey while they are doing the tests that represents the turret of a chilean Leo 2 modernized according to various sources and fits with the model, so the armor addition is not yet known, so I could not tell you the final appearance it will have, although you can already imagine it more or less with the image of the model.

Nope that is not Leopard, its ASELSAN’s Light Tank Concept. It looks like improved a lot, earlier version looks a lot more basic.

It is hard to pinpoint how Chilean Leopard will look like, if won’t get armor package, it will roughly look like the model at the booth.
If it would get armor package, it would be ROKETSAN T1 which would something like this:

Ah yeah , the turkish armor package lools heavily inspired by the rheinmetal evolution package.
But it gets ERA on the sides first half.
That being said i doubt chile is getting an armor upgrade.
Something as major as that would have been already mentioned specialy since it might affect APS, Sensor etc positioning
If there were no armor packs, it would be too bad
Even without the addition of armor it would be the best Leopard 2A4 without armor because it has access to DM 33A2 and M322 which are ammunition that penetrate quite well, it will also have state-of-the-art thermals, LWS and a remote turret of higher caliber than the normal Leo 2A4, without the armor it could perfectly be BR 11.0

Since normaly any leo 2a4 upgrade programm includes somekind of armor package normaly as well

Update:
- I added new information about factory modifications of tanks and what makes them have the CHL designation
- I added photos of the tank with the dozer blade
- I added new photos and videos of the tank ammunition that I have been finding in the last few months, speaking about that if there is someone who knows a lot about ammunition it would be very useful if you could tell me the model of these 2 ammunition.
For the ammunition in the video I have 3 possible models, these being: M322, M338 or the MKE MOD 290. I think this because of the blue stripe it has on the base.
Regarding the photo of the Chilean soldier with the ammunition, I assume it must be a DM 33A2 or a DM 63.
If someone could help me clarify this it would be very helpful.

Such a cool tank. Maybe it could go to Germany until a separate tree for Chilean vehicles are implemented but definitely a +1!

I just hope that gaijin can implement the Fibrotex anti-thermal kit even as a modification that can be installed or uninstalled, it is somewhat difficult to find more photos of the Leopard 2A4 with that kit but the ones I shared in this suggestion should be helpful to model it well. Another video where I found an ammunition used by the Leopard 2A4CHL, this time it seems to be the Israeli M324 practice ammunition. which would help to further confirm that the Leopard 2A4CHL use Israeli ammunition.
