Legend of Victory: T-34-85 “Partisan”

Camouflage for this T-34 is not a exact replica from vehicle from photos.

Would love to see more Soviet Vehicles like this for the next V-day, perhaps a unique KV-2 1940.

same stupid bug again.
Don’t you guys look for a photo to compare before modeling?

A more prominent photo, taken in Berlin. You can see what the normal correspondence between the idler wheel and the load wheel should be. Either you have lowered the position of the load wheel or raised the position of the idler wheel.

@Stona_WT Tell the modeler their mistake, correct it, and don’t make mistakes on memorable days like Victory Day.

Wasnt it the case last year with Churchill AVRE

The Churchill AVRE was the exception to this rule as it was the first D-Day related event which actually has hosted an event vehicle, other than the Operation Overlord event we haven’t seen anything similar EVER.

This is contrasted by the USSR and them getting near constantly a event vehicle for Victory Day, this is inexcusable and clearly bias, no nation should be getting this level of favouritism the USSR is receiving by Gaijin.

Gaijin announced there will be D-Day event in June with American tank as a reward. I just hope it’s not a copypaste sherman…

Yeah I saw that but forgot to add it into my response, and like you said hopefully it’s something unique and not a C&P vehicle like some Sherman with a flag on it lmao. This is a chance for Gaijin to introduce something memorable for a memorable event, hopefully they don’t fumble it.

It looks beautiful, I wish they would bring back the Victory Banner.

AFAIK front wheel was used to adjust tension on tracks, it was adjusted and that’s why on some photos you can see it on same level, where on other, it’s higher.

Of course it’s a Sherman or do you want an M3?
A gaijin artist learned how to paint flags on a tank, that would be a Sherman with a flag.

more stuff for ussr? how many premiums/event stuff do they have now?

This is Victory day event, do i don’t minf reward being russian, but at least BP reward could have been from any other nation

Yes, it’s Victory Day, a common allied victory. Can’t I get an award without being russian? Is it difficult or pathetic to do multiple awards?

80 year anniversary… and we get a T-34 reskin? Immensely disappointing.

I am not sure if you know the definition of “Partisan”:

A partisan is a member of a domestic irregular military force formed to oppose control of an area by a foreign power or by an army of occupation by some kind of insurgent activity.

I am actually wondering why gaijin is glorifying such expressions - the tern refers to irregular warfare which is (depending on which news you consume and in which couuntry you live) in today’s view on things either a freedom/resistance fighter or a terrorist.

I am quite sure there are way less problematic expressions painted on T-34s. Maybe worth to think about at the 85th anniversary or next victory day event.

As the supplies by the US kept the USSR alive in their very critical phase '42-43 you might consider to choose a Lend-Lease vehicle usable in both trees (player can choose his version) for similar events.

it’s a positive term

Actually, it’s the 9th because it was May 9th in Moscow when the war ended, but May 8th most everywhere else in Europe and North America. The official end of the war in Europe was set to 00:01 May 9th, Moscow time, or 23:01 May 8th, Berlin time. The surrender was signed earlier but it was a situation where fighting was only ordered to stop at a later designated time, to streamline the surrender process.
