because it isn’t at all about players participating, it is about one more vehicle that at first is sold on the marketplace and then later (when number on market get low and price climbs) ends up in the gambling boxes
That still doesn’t make sense for it to be so rare when more vehicles also results in more profit.

I mean, that logic checks out given you need to complete 85% of a task to receive a /checks math/ 50% discount on purchasing the task.
As is usually the case, it’s all just so bizarre and overly complicated. Just let people play the game, enjoy themselves and unlock stuff.
Continuing to gatekeep things behind Rank 3 over 48 hour periods in game modes that haven’t changed or evolved in over a decade is obnoxious. More so when said rewards are this unimaginative.

you can bet someone from Gaijin did do the math on this
more vehicles means ther will initially be lots of them for pretty cheap … it’ll take 2-3 years for numbers to drop and for price to start to climb
look price history for event vehicles. Probably best example is battlepass F2G-1 … rank4 premium around 6.0 BR, Gaijin sells such vehicles for 20-30$ but there were thousands of them available after battlepass for 5$ on market.
The event changes (switch to score points, recent change to insanely high score requirement for tradeable coupon) are designed to significantly lower the initial wave of event vehicles showing up on market, thus driving price up significantly at the beginning and also shortening the timeframe for low numbers leading to even higher price increase from 2-3 years to under 1 year. And then with low numbers available Gaijin can always create temporary (and controlled!) spike in marketplace sales by putting certain vehicle into gambling box.

no WW2, the russians don’t celebrate it, they have their own war (GPW) and their own sole victory. So we have only soviet vehicle

I’m just glad its a low tier soviet copypaste plane. This way I’m not forced to commit to this grind :)
This won’t get good prices on the marketplace, nor is it neccessary to get it for yourself. After all just another Yak 3.
The WW2 just end more sooner to them, Soviet Union joined the war in Pacific region very late under the request of the other allied nation and for it’s own interest. No surprise they barely celebrate it.
If the A-bomb was never invented, maybe they will be celebrating the V-day along, since the expected casualties will be very high.
So since the event is in June it will be an USA boat with two 30 cal machineguns, what they used for D-DAY landing
It will be 35-40k points every 2 days, 600-700k for the coupon.
