few of these choices raise an eyebrow of mine, most notably aral sea where I simply cant think of a sight line where commander thermals would provide decisive advantage over gunner thermals.

? you can sit there at the southern and northern end of the railway tracks and snipe from complete cover with commander thermals. i would have liked to take this to pms since its quite offtopic at this point but the damn forum wont let me somehow. anyways as you said it is personal preference and if someone doesnt like using these you dont need to, just because you possibly can play some positions more effective. matches are not won from a lot of these positions anyhow so…

I dunno if it needs down tiering or not, but wanting it to be facing L2A4s and Chally Mk3 in a down tier seems pretty crazy to me.
The BR increase to 12.7 was also fairly arbitrary in what went where, I’m sure the next few balance updates will see a lot of stuff move around as it all settles out.

I heard the penetration power of the OFL120F1 differs slightly from historical records. Is that true?
Gaijin uses a calculation to get the penetration for most if not all of the darts.
So yeah it’s likely that OFL 120 F1 in game figures could differ from historical/irl ones, but it’s the same for a lot of darts.
