yes, but it was compared to a tank destroyer initially, and in that regard is absolutely busted.
Ima stop you there, you sold me at L3
You can’t say no to the L3=<3!
Rheinmetall S-18/1000 goes bang bang
Shure why not.
OK I’ll say it once and for all.
According to Italian documentation, the rifle is simply called the Solothurn or Fucile Anticarro/Carabine “S”. If the factory name is something else, I don’t care and it doesn’t belong here because the Italians didn’t classify the rifle with the factory name (mostly).
The Factory code is S-18/1000 iirc. Technically Solothurn isnt wrong, but Rheinmetall or Rheinmetall-Solothurn is “more” correct. But that doesnt really matter.
+1 for a L3 folder
Sadly this is the last L3 CC.
Darn…
Edit: Congrats on getting the Caproni Ca.133 passed for consideration.
Actually, i found a document, while it isnt about this gun, it is about another gun from Rheinmetall over Solothurn, the S-18 designations and such are “Auslandsbezeichnung” (foreign designstion or so). Specifically for use by foreign countrys and as an open name. While Internally and in general for Germany they have other named.
The C/30 / Flak 30 with T5-150 while the KwK 30 was the S5-100. So still both are correct.
Here exsampel 2 cm Mk Lb. 201a with the foreign country designation T12-201.
