L-39 had quite successful export, for example it was exported into Hungary and Romania, the latter one used exactly L-39ZA variant.
Italian TT where Romania is placed would also benefit a lot by the addition of this plane under Romanian flag as there is a huge gap in this TT between props and jets.
Planes like MB-326B/E, S.211 and Fiat G.82 aren’t seen on the horizon, plus they will better fit regular TT, so I suggest to add it as a squadron vehicle (for whatever reason Italy still doesn’t have a single one) or as a premium at least. Also Italy is kinda lackluster this update receiving only 2 units: RN Roma and Leopard 1A2, such addition as Romanian L-39ZA would be a good move.
As a bonus this plane could receive some Hungarian skins, this nation didn’t use ZA variant, but had a bit different ZO in service. For example this “Shark” skin:
Yeah, there are way more actually, especially if we look at Aermacchi variants. Unfortunately there is still not any sign of any of them coming, apart from that model of MB-326K in progress by NovA29 about which Idk if I should be happy or not, since such important addition for the Italian TT is going to be usermade model, so either premium or event and what will happen to earlier variants of MB-326 (B/E/G)? Will they be skipped just like earlier varians of IAR-80/81 and 93? I still hope that MB-326K will go to the regular tree, while SAAF Implala mk.2 will become premium in the British TT to make a profit for NovA.
I meant seven base models. Yeah, with variants the number gets quite large. Regardless, the G.80/82 should have been here since the tree was released from a gap point of view. It can’t be THAT hard to make one. We have planes that didn’t even exist, like the 109Z and the R2Y2 in the game. They just being cheap.
At this rate we’ll get an IAR 99 before we get an Italian trainer in the Italian tree.
