HISTORY
The exact speed of this vessel, are classified, and not yet released! so for now one can only guess, i have been told ca the exact speed of the vessel by a friend of a friend who are serving the navy on this vessel “word of mouth” we all know about that right? ;) so i have an idea about how high it’s top speed are (I don’t dare post it here in fear of posting “classified” information) this might be a different situation tough, since it can be considered as a “rumor”. But if it it has the speeds i suspect, this will hold the title for QUITE some time! So yeah, stay tuned! one day we will get to know!

The skjold class consists of 6 large, superfast, stealth missiletorpedoboat/corvettes. the development of these started with the Project SMP 6081, and the first verison was ordered on the 30 august 1996, where the first ship of the class, the P960 KNM Skjold, was launched 22 september 1998 and hoist command ca 7 months after the next year, 17 april 1999. it was later reccomended building an additional 5 vessels, and this was appoved in 2002. six vessels of the Skjold-class replaced the 14 aging Hauk class missiletorpedoboats

The construction of the ships is very unconventional for naval vessels, as it is shaped roughly like a catamaran hull, where flexible skirts are mounted between the hulls. here, air is pumped in, which ensures that the vessel will get an excess pressure, so that the ships will rise more than the buoyancy would indicate. there is then less resistance, and the vessel goes faster and lighter, also increased resistance to mines and better stability, in contrast to the size of the ships

in order to preserve the stealth capabilities of the ships, RAM - Radar Absorbent Materals have been mounted on large parts of the ships. doing it this way saved a lot of weight.

This vessel has 2 camouflaged. one darker and green, one lighter colours

World record holder

IN GAME
It should be quite obvious that this is a suggestion for the future Warthunder! there will be many years before these types of vessels would have a place in the game! i believe in the game, and the naval part will only improve and one day be super, i hope ;)
