How thick is the driver’s hatch? From what I read, the hull was apparently considered to be adequately protected against the L/71, so I’d imagine its fairly thick to compensate for being flat.
i can’t find any specifics. The design came from the IS-4 prototypes and thus I assumed it would be quite similar, though probably not quite as armoured.
