KF51 Panther

No, what Will be produced Will be an MBT derivated from the KF51 (IMBT) and an IFV derivated from the Lynx (the MGCS thing Is Just a proposal to’ get Italy into the project, nothing more). Regarding the KF51 itself, the germans could still get the 3 demonstrators as they are gonna be different compared to the IMBT.

A small correction, the One in game if I remember correctly was from 2019 since It was the First prototype ever made with Just and upgraded Engine (the later ones with more stuff were made in 2022/2023).

yeah a derivated but not itself a KF51, its based on the hull for some parts but not the same

i was talking more officially presentated, since prototype dosent really matter all that much

Yeah Indeed, that’s why I Always like to’ point that out, as I think It Will be unfair for germany to not received at least One of the demonstrators.

yeah i believe its fair if other countries like italy could get a KF 51 via hungary like the KF-51 EVO im not saying is wrong but i was correcting the error that a tank derived from the KF-51 dosent mean its the same, it might be a KF-51 but another variant at it, still we are far away from seeing those ingame

Also apparently Italy Is going to get a small Number of German made KF51 and 41 (like what they did with Hungary). It Will be interesting to see If they Will be modified or not.

+1, I personally think it should be a event vehicle for Germany kinda like Germany’s own version of the Object 292

No way. Only tech tree later. Event must be leo 140

too op to be event and it fits on an MBT line, germany could get the PZ-87-140 WE as a possible event vehicle but the KF-51 dosent fit as an event vehicle

It could also come after the Leopards and the E-MBT could go in the T 72M1 line

Yeah i was thinking KF-51 and stuff like the Leopard 2 ARC 3.0 could go on that line

Experimental vehicles, so yeah. Like leo 2 evo, revo, technology demonstrator and something same.

Yeah altough gaijin didnt really respecto it with the pso

I don’t know why. Also waiting for pso-vt in that line

In addition to Italy, Hungary is also relying on the Panther. Last year, the country commissioned Rheinmetall to develop the model’s chassis to series production readiness. The study presented in 2022 was still based on a Leopard 2 chassis.

In the new version, the Panther will now also emancipate itself from the Leopard 2 main battle tank. This has now been redesigned in Hungary. “The Panther now has its own chassis,” said Papperger.
