KF41 Lynx (UOR)

No no, we will have our version (that will be a “new veichle based on the lynx” rather than a new version with only some different piece, or at least that is what RH and Leonardo always say). Btw for that one we will have to wait probably until the next year.

If the vehicle is identical to Hungarian one, I prefer to just get additional Italian skins, unless Gaijin moves Hungary somewhere else.
Or make it premium, so I don’t have to spade it twice XD

+1 for a future North Korean TT

Memeing aside an Italian KF41 could be added if there’s a future Hungarian or V4 TT so Italy at least has a TT KF41 or the very least the Hungarian KF41 can be just turned into an Italian one if a future Hungarian/V4 TT is added

add a premium version with italian camuflage pattern and maybe netting or something

+1 as either an event or squadron vehicle
another interesting way to add this would be to add this without Spikes although we don’t really know what version was delivered and if it had full integration of all the modules.

Anyhow this vehicle was given to the army to toy around and get a feeling to how it performs and what they would like to be modified.

I would also like to conclude saying that the AICS/A2CS(the italian IFV developed from the KF-41) should feature quite a lot of differences, one of them being a completely new turret.

My only problem is with the suggestion actually. Its way too early to make it. Italy will be making the turret and its entirely possible that it will be one of the unmanned Italian turrets. The hulls will be made in Hungary and exported to Italy.
The image of the covered Lynx in transport is sent for testing and it’s not entirely clear if it is a leased Hungarian one or that it belongs to Italy which could mean a more in-depth testing, perhaps even experimenting.
So we don’t know what the Italian Lynx looks like

Indeed I’ve not wrote anywere that this Is going to be the final version (also we do not know of the final version of the hull will be made in Hungary, and of It will, It’s going to be quite different compared to the normal one, since It will have different engine and internal part’s). Btw the first A2CS Is scheduled to be delivered the next year or later so this Is far from being the final one and It was also stated that there will be an initial batch (probably from the Hungarian line since it’s the only one Active) of foreign units for speed up deliveries, so these first two could be part of that one. I will update this suggestion as soon as we get new info.

Yeah, it could be placed before It in order to make the line a Little bit longer or as You proposed for fill non-line requirments (actually a squadron lynx could be pretty cool).

I might be going insane rn but Italy already has the KF41

thats the hungarian one, italy is buying and developing their own version

They now deserve it :)

they still did before, hungary is an offical subtree even if some italians and hungarians might not be happy about it

As for mechanised infantry, the future will be the A2CS, the acronym for Army Armoured Combat System, which will be heavily based on Rheinmetall’s Lynx. One Lynx, taken from the Hungarian production line, has arrived in Italy in December 2024 to undergo some initial testing at the Montelibretti Army Experimental Centre, some firing demonstration at the Nettuno experimental firing range following in early February 2025. “The A2CS programme represents an investment of approximately 16 billion euros for the acquisition of 1,050 vehicles in 16 variants. All variants will have high commonality with the combat version that is the originating element…

The combat version of the A2CS will be fitted with a Leonardo turret, probably unmanned, the cannon being definitely the 30×173 mm X-Gun which is in the last development phase by the same company, the same weapon being adopted on the new version of the Freccia 8×8 IFV which production contract was signed recently. This underlines the choice for an increased firepower, as the 25×137 mm ammunition terminal effect does not cope with NATO lethality standards. “We expect to have a significant operational capability within the next five years, at least one heavy brigade fully equipped, and our timeline has been shared with industry.”

looking forward to what the italians cook up

Only if they finally give the demonstrator (a normal kf41) to Germany, because all the sweaty ppl saying “hurr durr Germany never used it in the military” are full of it and ignore like half the other vehicles in game where that never mattered

It seems Italy and Hungary will have more connection now)
It’s also interesting if X-gun is going to be any different from 30 mm Bushmaster in the game.

eh just give germany the australian version that they declined

that would also work for me, however the brits would crucify us for getting an australian vehicle instead of them

look trough the suggestion for the KF41 australian and you will see what i think of that lol

Its a declined vehicle, they dont even use the KF41 and chose the korean redback instead either way
