KF-5F Jegong-Ho: First Korean-Made Jet Fighter

So the Sherman Firefly is a C&P Sherman?

This might be a member of the F-5 family but it’s built and modified by South Korea making at a unique variant of SK.

Apparently me saying Copy paste was flagged as “not appropriate”

It was blatantly false and derailing the conversation, and thus avainst forum rules.

what’s diffrent about it then?

just cause it has diffrent rockets or nav stuff ect. doesn’t change that it’s a F-5.

Nose shape, wing design, control surfaces, performance in general, weaponry options, camos.

It is a part of the F-5 family, but in no way a copy-paste

to me it just a F-5 Korean modification to what they needed.

It looks like the Tigershark F-5 has the same nose cone.

It is a heavily modified version of the F-5.
If that counts as C&P, then do you consider the leopard 2A7V a copy paste of the 2A4

this is a American plane in another country similar to what the Brits did with the Firefly all they did was up gun it. Does not change the fact it’s a Sherman.

Not unique to any KF-5, an American modification.

Such as?

A single bomb that isn’t even guaranteed to come to the game because of it’s range.

It’s completely undistinguishable from a late block US F-5F or F-5N. The only real domestic mod is a bomb that isn’t unique to the airframe. Just own up to it being copy paste.

Is the plane its based on imgame? No.
The isreali chapparal was not a copy paste, it was added along with the US one.
It is not currently a copy paste.

Someone made a suggestion for it so likely chance it would be added to the such suggestion if someone mentions them.

The issue isn’t if it’s ingame or not. There is only 1 unique Korean thing about the entire plane and it’s not even specific to the plane. Already most of the features that are claimed to be unique on the KF-5F are present on the various in game F-5Es. Yes the Chaparral is copy paste even if it was added in the same update. People were pissed about the various M109s variants added instead of unique stuff even if they were added in the same update.

+1 for a United Korea tree!

By that logic, the Sherman Firefly and the M-51 are just copy-paste Shermans. You seem to have an oddly expansive definition of “copy-paste”. What it actually means is when the vehicle is literally just Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V without any changes.

Well they also fall into variants for me as well.

“Variants” are very different from copy-paste, and every nation other than USA and USSR is at least partially reliant on variants of other nations’ vehicles.

No, it’s more like if you take an M4A2 then add a HVSS suspension, add an M1 76mm, add the drivers and machine gunners armor plates, add the late war ammo stowage, then act like its entirely new tank because it has HVSS while the M4A2 76 in game doesn’t even though it was a US upgrade and the US used it on their late war M4A2s.

There isn’t a single domestically designed Korean system on the KF-5F and would be identical to a US F-5F. Meanwhile there is no US equivalent to the Firefly or M-51 as those both use unique guns mantlets and engine for the firefly.
