We have three variants of ahead for 35 mm:
The first sample of the family is designated PMD062. It has a size at the level of «ordinary» ammunition of the same caliber and weighs 750 g. The central part of the body has separable walls. When the fuse is activated, it opens on six «petals» that provide the output of the GPS. The shell holds 152 cylindrical GEPs, arranged in 8 longitudinal columns of 19 pieces each. Total mass of the elements - 500 g. The opening of the body and the emission of GE are carried out by a charge of an explosive substance with a mass of only 0.9 g.
Similar design has PMD330 projectile, but it uses a different set of GPE. In its central compartment, there are 407 striking elements - 11 columns of 37 units each. The mass of the GPE is reduced to 1.24 g.
The GGE reduction course continued in the PMD375 project. This projectile is equipped with 860 GGE of 0.64 g mass and has the same means of control of detonation and charge for ejection.

if this was how AHEAD performed in game then it would be one of the most effective AA systems ever. i also think we make a mistake engaging targets over 3km even with AHEAD
