Most likely was a placeholder on dev
Hopefully that’s just a placeholder for DEV server to show to the players that the center 3 is going to be implemented. It’s going to take a lot longer to re-organize ALL other loadout options for ALL other munitions so that the 3 can fit in the center options. They will also need to implement blocks so that if you take a fuel tank on the center pylon you can’t add two missiles as well for example. Lots of things like that that is going to take a lot of time to fix, just adding 3 in one spot temporarily is likely way faster and shows players that it’s on it’s way.
At least that’s my guess.

I would actually rather go with the armament that the Swedish Air Force are currently fielding and not implement armaments that it “could” equip, the same goes for any other aircraft for all nations but i guess thats not an option any longer.

did enyone manage to play sim with the gripen E. if so do you recall if the missile “tail” was present on the screen?
Also is the RWR not supposed to be fully spherical?
if statshark is up to date then that seems to not be the case

the maws is only the RWR seems to not be spherical. but again that might have been a placeholder from the C? im not familliar with the name of the actuall RWR on the E

The Gripen E’s RWR was possibly just a placeholder
The whole system is known as MFS-EW (Multi Functional System-Electronic Warfare), which is based on Saab’s Arexis EW system family. Not sure about the name of the RWR specifically though.
Would AIM-120C5 be too much for you then? Sweden is currently using C8 model irl

I think i did add that information to one of the RWR reports but i’m not certain.

I did ( Community Bug Reporting System ) , but i think the main report in general is wrong and should be applied to the JAS39C instead as the E doesn’t use BOW-21 but has AREXIS instead. Both are spherical though.

As far as i can see the RWR report hasn’t been accepted?
If that is the case thats one thing we should push for if it releases without it
