Dev is not ending tommorow. They will extend it atleast until wednesday but most likely until next sunday and then update on the 23rd of december.

Unlikely, with the winter event coming on Thursday, the update will probably come the 16th or 17th. Also trust me, gaijin doesn’t really care about if something is ready or not 🫠just means they’ll have to fix it after their break.

getting micas to the gripen is going to be a battle, if gripen gets it then people want it on typhoon and rafale players dont want anyone else have it in the first place because they know its the thing giving them a clear edge over everyone else. (no its not just that ‘‘french players are just that guud’’)

Gripen is very commercialized and compatible with basically anything western but I don’t think it makes sense giving Sweden Mica? Maybe if some future buyer of the 39E happens to have Mica in their arsenal, that nation could get it but I think best case scenario that report will get “Forwarded as suggestion” and never implemented. Sweden can use their AIM120 until it’s time for Meteor. There’s no need for a placeholder like when 39A got skyflashes before Fox 3’s
I still want AIM-120C5 to be implemented for Gripen E

When there was a GRIPEN E exhibition in Brazil, I had the chance to see the project up close. Maybe in this video you can get a better look at the fighter’s weapons and equipment. And yes, I recorded the video in a Top Gun style — the funny part is that it was basically the same year Top Gun: Maverick was released 😂. In the background is the world’s first airplane, the 14-BIS, hahaha

I have more images, including one showing a weapon where two units are mounted on a single hardpoint on the Gripen. I marked it in red — has this already been added to the development server? I believe this configuration would significantly increase the quantity of whatever it is.
those are GBU-39, they are 4 per pylon and have been in the game for a while

It seems that the Brazilian Gripen’s weapon is not in a ‘V’ shape, but has better aerodynamics, being slimmer compared to the one on the development server. Try to notice this in the images I managed to capture from the footage and in the development server screenshot. I believe that the Brazilian version being slimmer at the tip helps with aerodynamics at high speeds.”**
