i have just fiddeld arround with the irst and it seems to only see 15km anyone else getting this number?
got a lock at 20km when it was first added
yes i actually just got the same with hmd on a target going “cold”

assuming it will be better against planes with afterburners instead of the mig 15 test drive target
pilot also seems to have the EF helmet

any stats on ir detection range?
@Fluffy_Bucketles did you repport that the thing can not unlock the locked target with the spice 250?
I would say 25km max
Has the 1pp HMD changed?
OLS-35 on su-35 can detect a non afterburning su-30 at 50 km front aspect at a 15 degree angle from the front. in the mid-2000s. I doubt gripen e irst which is like a decade newer is only 25 km
