Seems like it, baseline data looks correct. Still some question marks on it’s performance at speed but that might possible already be correct as well.

Very nice, Gripen is shaping up to be quite good actually
1200 kg more empty weight, so almost 20% more weight, thrust increase in the same ballpark from C->E
also to be noted it holds alot more internal fuel than C model.
i think they updated the flight model today because it was feeling like a total ufo yesterday when i played it, now it feels bigger and heavier.

I don’t see it being very competitive at all in the M1.6 16G+ BVR jousts with the other eurocanards, which IMO shouldn’t be a thing in the first place… Not sure why devs let planes or pilots survive those loads. But it’ll be a nice addition, cool looking plane. Good avionics and will get great EW whenever that’s added
engine power on E is notable tho, 0.5mach(612kmh) to 1.15 mach at sea level E takes 44 seconds and C takes 68 seconds from my quick test. high altitude performance feels also pretty good.
E: i just noticed my engine mods on C were disabled, need to do another run lol
both 20min fuel and 2 aim9m+4 aim120’s, E model 20mins of fuel is at 50% and C model at 66% internal fuel, test flown in 200-400m alt.
Gripen C:
0.5mach-> 1.0mach 27seconds
0.5mach-> 1.15mach 66seconds
Gripen E:
0.5->1.0 23 seconds
0.5->1.15 44 seconds

i might have been at very low fuel and weapon load yesterday when i was in a dogfight with f16 which that ufo memory is based on, it still feels very good. i have to try it in a match later.

I agree but id like to argue it would be less then on the ce because of what a pilot says in a video saying it has more airflow through the engien

Im fairly confident that this is the case. Since all the engien repport have been turned down but not outright denied. Making me think they have it figured out and there fore dont need people repporting on it

swedish version: starting from that time stamp he talks about the engien (i know the first “engien” he talks about is the apu)
i just rewatched both to find the time stamp. he says in the swedish correct me if im wrong that the irst can “see” 300-500km (im danish so something might get lost in translation)

Though in my defence, you lot sound the same to my ear for the most part. Only difference is I can vaguely read Swedish if you give me long enough. The Dane language evades me.
