JA37Di Still can access RB99 unlike JAS39A don’t.

Gripen. RB99-less one. It can be considered unique due to the inferior weaponry, which traded with 0.7BR.
Also, it was considered neglected when it was sharing only a 0.3BR difference without AIM-120/RB99.

Viggens. If you aren’t an extreme fan of Sweden. You can just skip all those Viggens by buying prem JA37Di.
Because the ARH-Capable one will be the best and latest version of Viggen overall (if we don’t consider BR efficiency).

Tunnans. Cute flying beer casks which are inferior to damn F-86 and MiG-15 nowadays just like French Ouragan does.
Seems Prem One with ADEN and Afterburner One are usually preferred compared to all Tunnan sisters.

SAAB-105. You can access SAAB105OE, the Austrian variant of them with wallets too.
It is almost the same with 105G on the anti-air feature. Bomb load-outs are the only difference.

Nah, According to my experience with Tornado F.3
I am not going to spend a penny on RWR-LESS flying coffin which carries 12 CM in total.

Of course, J35XS is the Best Draken by paper stat. Still, it seems dreadfully overrated to me.

Agrees that Swedish have unique jets. Sadly Gaijin sold nearly all of them as premium.

I’d argue that J29F is strong at its BR with afterburner, AIM-9B, good flight performance and strong flaps

Apart from the J21/A21, and the SK60 all domestic Swedish aircraft have either been purchasable at some point, or are found in other trees.

The 7.7 ones are a victim of compression. It’s a decent 7.7 when compared to other 7.3/7.7 planes, but the Sabres/MiGs being so low ruins it. I’ve yet to play tht 9.0 one, but I don’t think that it will be better than a Mig-17.

I don’t have either of them, but the J29F always seemed like the better package to me

I hold over 2/1 KD in it and I’m just flying it for fun. The BR itself also is something that I barely ever play

Worst* version due to its higher BR from weapons.
The AB ones are 9.0, not 7.7 where their max speed isn’t as useful.
SAAB-105OE doesn’t have CCIP, it’s objectively inferior.

It for sure seems like a fun plane, even with its quirks.
The more I play at those BRs, the more I also appreciate just having the option to carry AIM-9Bs

That is one of the main reasons why my desire to climb up the Swedish Air branch got crippled after I researched J21RB and SK60. :'(

They sold the jets as premium ones too much.

Still can’t understand Gaijin’s decision about that.
7. X jets like Meteor Ouragan Tunnan usually can’t have any chance against those American/Soviet Korean war rivals.

The lack of bombs is a much bigger negative than not having CCIP imho

J29D prem is on 8.3

It can’t use dumb bombs but can carry ATGM.
Sounds sidegrade than inferior to me.

And its worse than J29F

Clearly inferior when these two ATGMs take away your guns and CCIP making them the only CAS weapon you can reliably use. Saab 105G on the other hand can carry four bombs and 2 gunpods with CCIP targeting which easily gives you at least 4 kills per run.

I was concerned too much about the Anti-air capability of both SAAB-105G/OE and thought ground ordinance difference wasn’t big enough.

I think this problem is similar to the Tornado F.3 problem.
Tornado F.3 Late/JA37Di might be better on catalogue paper stat due to the accessibility of advanced weaponry. That is why they received a higher BR than the older Non-ARH-Capable one. Right?

In the meantime, They retained the same mediocre fuselage from the predecessor and were not ready for combat against superior advanced jets like the F-15C/I in the up-tiered match.
So they can also considered worse on BR Efficiency at the same time.

Still, As long as the AIM-120 is a good missile. If Gaijin do tiny BR decompressing and push their wing eventually.
I think they might do better on fragging F-4S, F1C or some eastern jets with SPO-15 than now.

And now, For me, JA37Di is the reason that I am going to climb Sweden’s air branch. Not the JAS39A which is forced to use placeholder Skyflash if I want to use Radar-Guided weaponry.

Well, I can buy prem JA37Di instead, though; why not both?

The thing with Tornado F3 is that it’s similar to F-4 in airframe; Tornado’s airframe got buffed to around F-4 levels 1 - 2 updates ago.

Viggen remains the worst airframe, worse than even Mig-23M and Mig-21SMT.

Even though Tornado might have a better airframe than JA37D. It doesn’t change the fact that both JA37Di and Tornado F.3 Late are insufficient to fight against mighty superior F-15C/I.

I will gonna take your metaphor I saw a long time ago, [Tornado F.3 is F-14A which can’t dogfight]
and use a simile with it

BOTH seem meh in the current meta, but I still can see gems inside them if decompressing of BR comes up.

theyre leaving out weapons out of aircraft mainly because they want less gaps in techtrees battle ratings, thats why we got 13.0 and 13.7 gripens for example. and f16’s with different weapons and BR’s

If JA37Di with RB99 showed up as a foldered vehicle…
Then can Italy and China see their F-16A with AIM-120 as a foldered vehicle too…?
