The J-8F aircraft, standing at 13.0, is in dire need of what it was not given. Its competitors have either a much larger number of missiles, or much better performance characteristics, or much better radar, or all of these together. I remember at the exit, the plane had MAWs. Was he taken out because of the lack of mechanics in the game, it seems? Why wasn’t it returned? Why are they not giving the PL-5E2 and/or PL-8B missile? It is impossible to play with two rockets on such combat ratings. At 13.0, the aircraft must have IRCCM missiles if its flight characteristics do not shine.

alot of 13.0 aircraft don’t get ARH missiles, and of the ones that do none have a decent flight model and IRCCM missiles.
BR compression just sucks at 13.0. Honestly most BRs now.

It’s very sad that we can’t get a good 13.0 from China. I would even agree to 13.3 with the new rockets. Playing without them is a silent horror. The plane has two missiles.
Wouldn’t be opposed to it finally gets the PL-8B it’s supposed to have, would make it much more viable of an aircraft.

F4ICE = 4 irccm + 4 ARH
JA37Di = 2 irccm + 4 ARH
Tornado F3 Late = 4 irccm + 4 ARH
Slower sure, but overall not too big of a FM gap. Also u can’t climb cause 2 PL12 won’t do well up high, and then u are stuck on the floor. Also note u will easily rip so can’t even go full throttle continuously.
IRCCM is not a big ask, be it that it is fast and has HMS, it is still a gen 3 platform.
It is a good 13.0 plane

All of those are slower, and 2 are under-BR’d.
AIM-9L also doesn’t have IRCCM.

It is impossible to adequately play on an airplane with two usable missiles, against a su33, which has 12 excellent missiles and much better performance characteristics. 2 Arh is too little. We need IRCCM and MAW, which the aircraft had and still has in IRL

And its very possible to play, its a great plane at 13.0.
Sorry my bad, 2+4 is still better than 4+2. Also AMRAAM is better than PL12.
P3s are barely that at 13.0. A single flare anywhere within the fov in 10km will distract it.
What difference does slower make, unless u climb to spam otherwise no difference.
Its amazing how people forget how to use non-IRCCM missiles
But when you have flares everywhere, and u have the most sensitive missile, it is hard to not get mad when a flare 10 km away managed to attract your missile. Also people do things differently between 60 CM and 200 CM. Also MAWS exists at this BR, so a lot of difference. There is a reason radar missiles are used more than IR, and lack of IRCCM does not help.
