Its sort of connected, basically the only way F16 gets another Aim120D is with the UML by Marvin but it’s still a blueprint design. There was a bug report for the PIDS pylon to carry Aim120D but it was denied through technicality
wish PL8 had TVC so i could use it like R73s

Devs just need to change the pylon, but idk if J-15T can carry that older pylon

yeah but it can do some insane fast and long shot.
always goes for 8km top down or 3 km behinde enemy.

Can we all agree on Russian bias or not yet ? J10C shouldn’t even be in the game if they only carried PL15 right ? And POBIT at 14.3 is piss poor. Su30SM2 developed in 3 days is pretty wild. Why can’t they just balance everyone out. J10C drag is like a F15 and WS10B underperforming.
i guess but the whole niche for getting J15 is dogfighting why would i want a long range missile for a dogfighter
if it could still use R73s like first J11 that be amazing
j15 is no where near a dogfighter plane.
getting close to a enemy could easly make you run out of flare and eat a ir missile.
better stay long range, kinda like f15 players do

its better than SM2 at dogfighting from what ive heard on it only time it looses is at really lowspeeds
Don’t rlly matter against those R73 with Thrust Vectoring and Thrust vectoring engine. Unless you agree in a real battle to only use guns lol
yeah thats why i wish PL8 could do that it would level playing field significantly for custom dogfight battles it be really good to use
