Spyder would be fine. Derby’s are literally already in the game. And being ARH would actually be more balanced than the IR with ECCM slingers already in the game. You’d defeat them the exact same way you’d defeat them in ARB. But things like the Type 81 will literally just kill you if you are in range. If you think the Python 5’s would be too strong, even though for aforementioned reasons I don’t think it would even be a problem, then stick Python 3’s or 4’s in there and call it a day. Or if you wanted to be extra smelly just take the Pythons out and have only Derby’s. Also you only get 4 missiles. It’s not like it’s a Pantsir with 12 missiles and TWS that allows you to shoot down every piece of ordinance coming your way from 20km away. The people in here who genuinely think the Pantsir is okay compared to literally any other SPAA system in this game right now absolutely need to get their head checked.

Its not bad for its br the problem is that it doesnt fit in top tier when su 25 kill u from 15km
Python 5 will be match better cuz its ir guided so it wont miss only thing its missing is range which 15 20km are enough for the game
I agree, Israel deserves some better Air defence system. IRL iDF has probably one of the best air defence systems in the world and look at what we got at BR12 in game!?

but its ir guided which requires less skill for spaa, so i think the derby sr is better since it has better range but is manually guided so it requires some skill to guide the missile to the target
I would think the derby version is guided automatically like the derby in game.
It is an active radar homing missile, it is entirely automatic and fire and forget.
Also, skill? Tell that to those tossing air to ground F&F weapons.

Python 4 not gonna be stronger then type 81 and any way ppl would take more derbys anyway cuz the range but i think its a nice aditionto have ir and mouse guided missiles in the same spaa it can make ppl play israel more
Im not so sure about that part,but Israel definitely needs top tier spaa.

I mean yes it more maneuverable but both have strong irccm and typ81 is maneuverable enough to not be able to dodge it(uless it lose its energy ofc)
In therms of game roll they are pretty much the same
All radar missiles turnes to mouse guided missiles in spaa roll
the python 5 is fitted with the derby ER not the derby
Brother Python-4 is much more maneuverable while having insane IRCCM capabilities, there is a reason why Gaijin still didnt add Python-4 to Israel Jets.
As much as i would like to use Python-4 on my both Israel Jets and Spaa system we have to admit that it will be kinda op, with Python-5 it will be even better.
Ofc the python 4 is much more Maneuverable but its not relevant as spaa u dont need more then 20gs u dont do df and off board shots and dont forget u have uncaged seeker

irccm will be strong but its not like u dont have thos in game like the stinger and the type 81 or the chines antelopa and the igla
