Given that 80-90% of their stuff is USA with vis mods or a few extra weapons options, and just a smattering of French and British stuff. The Merkava (and by extension the Namer) is the sole unique thing in the entire tree. And I sure would not miss the “Why Israel have better (X) than USA?” threads.

Actually if they are adding patriot/s400 I really want david sling to be in game. It fulfils all my requirements of a good AA system. Fast. long range, both IR and radar.
I doubt it would be much bigger then the UK tree will be if they ever actually add all the missing Indian & South African stuff.
Israel top tier air should be unique if they add python 4, derby er and all the CAS weapons.
Side-fold them with the USA counterpart. What I mean by that is rather than having to research one then the next like in the current folding system, put them side by side so either one unlocks the next plane. For example when you unlock the F-4E both the F-15A and Baz become available to research, unlocking either on of them unlocks both the MSIP and Baz Meshupar etc.
I mean, arguably Israel can just be similar to Canada. Almost everything (besides some ground stuff) are based on French (Nesher, Kfir, Zachlam SS.11), British (Sho’t, Meteor, Spitfire) or American (Ayit, Baz, Kurnass, etc.) weapons/vehicles. I think Israel to too big to be part of the US.
Either way, it’s in the game now so it’s more likely it’ll just remain as it is, a Tech Tree. I’m not happy abt Cyprus → Israel but there’s not nearly enough Cypriots unhappy with this. I’d much rather have Cyprus + Turkey + Greece combined- but that’s just my fancy, I know it’d go against tradition to have something like that. I don’t think I’ve met another Cypriot on this forum, only some Greeks, Turks or others arguing over Cyprus’ inclusion.

Yeah, I’m not Israeli/Greek/Cypriot or anything like that. I just prefer nations to have a meaningful connections when lumped together. Maybe Israel and those nations do and I’ve just missed that part of history. Like, I’d hope it’s not just a ‘Hey, Cyprus is pretty close (in proximity) to Israel, so let’s dump their vehicles in the Israeli tree’.
Trying to discuss Israel while avoiding ban able political topics is like trying to dance the highland fling through the Korean DMZ without blowing your legs off, let’s just say that the UK and the USA are probably the closest allies politically and militarily, the other nearby countries I get the impression Israel is like that neighbor that keeps insisting the backyard fence is too far onto his property. I’ll leave it at that as I’m not trying to start a political fight, just explain why some nearby countries might not be too happy about being added to Israel (in game of course).
Oh, I know that part of history. I know why they wouldn’t want to, I’m trying to see if there was some secret relationship between Israel and Greece, etc, I didn’t know about. But yes, very touchy topic. I honestly would have preferred a Yugoslavia tree with Serbia, Croatia and co. So much depth, unique variants. But alas here we are. (I do love playing some things in Israel tree like the Ayit).

Probably also because Cyprus and Greece kinda HAVE to go together, and they have the same joint agreements with Israel and Greece. But I mean in terms of common Cypriot beliefs, I’ve met mostly those against Israel. Whether its because of their country’s decisions or Israelis in Cyprus making inaccessible, gate-kept communities and abusing the already disliked “Golden Visa”. I don’t live in Cyprus but I spoke to a lot of Cypriots in Cyprus (and to my family/family friends) and view Cypriot media, I’d say that most are against Israel but there is still a fair amount for Israel.

They have strella on wheels but that still won’t solve the issue because it’s gonna be around 9.7 the issue is Israel doesn’t have an spaa between 9.7 - 12.7
