This is all worrying over nothing, anyway. 8.7 isn’t what it used to be due to decompression. Also, when you’re up-tiered, only a fraction of the enemy team will be at that higher BR. People that worry about uptiers usually have issues they need to take care with elsewhere.

i think making uptiers a max of .3 is a far more reasonable repuest as 1.0 uptiers are from when game was tiny

The IS-3 has more effective armor compared to all other 7.3 and even some 7.7BR heavies. It will do fine at 7.7BR.

I can kill IS-3s just fine provided I have an angle for it. You want to talk about driver ports and mantlets on the T32E1 yet the IS-3 is basically completely frontally immune to all shell types with exception to HEAT/FS and APDS, yet early APDS against it is dubious at best thanks to the poor modifiers early APDS has to contend with.

That’s true 1.0 uptier is a relic of past times when there weren’t many players. In a current state of the game with over 150k players 0.7 uptier should be maximum with 0.3 up and down - the perfect world. But having 1.0 increases revenue so it’s never going to change

I call bull you can pen the mantlet of it and ive even been frontally penned by 90MM american APCR which is the ONLY APCR INGAME THAT CAN PEN ANGLES atleast that i know off
T32-E1 has roughly same armor frontally too and only a slight less potent round of 224MM of pen witha far faster reload it also 2 stage aswell

so we can get a max uptier of br reduction as decompression is inconsistant think about it every update they add new toptiers but they rarely decompress them so even if you added the Typhoon at 14.0 for example with a MAX uptier of .3 only 13.7s will fight it making it far easier for most tanks with inconsistant decompression and a 13.7 is far more capable of killing a typhoon than any 13.0
