Well I am gonna need to get the B-57A first then the B-57B and there is an problem… the bombs always miss. I drop at 6000M and it always completely misses the base.
I fly on the deck and rarely get above 200m. What i do is spawn and immediately dive to gain speed, then pull up at around 600mph. You’ll outrun everything and you’ll generally get at least something. But to hit bases i pull up a bit then dive at them and then drop
How about missiles? This plane does pull high Gs, but… it loses speed fast too.
Do you normally have a chance to go for a 2nd base bombing run in this tactic?
in my experiences your either fucked or you can pull enough for the missle to fly past you.
depends on if people want you bad enough, but generally yes, although I wouldn’t go for a second base, like I said earlier I take 2 napalm bombs and the 4 750 pounders, I bomb a base with the napalm (use both of them), then I go and ground pound AI targets, you can easily get 10+ ground kills from the AI emplacements, and its fairly quick getting the 20mms and those shred absolutely anything. Ill play a game then drop a vid, so you can see how I play it.
Oops, I meant, do you normally like landing back in the airfield and rearming and doing the same thing again? Like is there a chance to maybe do a 2nd run? Because there will be like 3 players chasing you from behind.
no because if I’m not hurt or out of ammo there’s no point in going back to land, as then you have to gain all your speed again, plus most of the time I’m ground pounding or trying to dogfight and then dying, but yeah like I said I don’t really care to go back and land if I don’t need to,
also here’s the link to the latest game I played I don’t have time rn to upload a whole vid and the file is to big to just put on the forums. I’ll get a real vid today at some point I’ll ping your @ if I remember

For the planes that don’t have any sort of bomb targeting computer:
(and I assume you’re using the bomb sight, and not just “using the force” for when to release bombs)
If you’re in level flight, or reasonably level, it’s pretty much guaranteed to hit base if you drop when the bomb sight crosshairs are on the base. (in my experience anyway).
Don’t drop on or chase the the little circle icon that moves around in the bomb sight… that’s just your plane direction from the virtual cockpit and not related to bomb drops at all.
Also make sure you’ve opened the bomb-bay doors before you want to drop (where applicable, not all planes have them if they’re just suspended bombs). The doors can take a few seconds to open and you may have passed the base indicator before your bombs actually release
(Just mentioning this as I played for ages thinking the little circle icon was the bomb impact point… and often missed bases)
