J10B not J11, J11B late like BG uses ESA radar cause it’s 2019 stuff…
J11B early uses 1493 I think although I am not sure on specifications. Some argues not to say I agree with them it is maximum like APG63V1 but it is mainly developed through out and later than J8F which was about APG63 V1 capabilities.
Typhoon doesn’t get a AESA radar till later variants. First several would still be mechanical,.though will still be one of the better radars in game.
R-77-1 is possible before Aim-120C5s. Wouldn’t be the first time soviets had an AAM advantage over everyone else
It would not be an advantage over 120A/B, it would just be on par
This is Gaijin we are talking about. It would never be “on-par” because then ARB would be balanced
Imagine the F-15EX with x12, AIM-120C-8
We already have R-77-1 stats in the game. It is in the files. Same everything with R-77, just %10 more thrust.
The official number for the F-15EX is a total count of 22 Aim-120D AMRAAMs… jeez this things a monster
R-77-1 is complete domination over the AIM-120A/B in every single way
And AİM-120A dominates R-77 in energy in everything that matters except “muh turning”
While also
F-15/16 have
Better radar
Better flight models
Better energy retention
Than MİG-29SMT/SU-27
God forbid these garbage aircraft have just 1 single good thing about them.
Checks squadron:
“United States Special Operations”
Couldn’t be more obvious
I’m not opposed to having R-77-1 added, just wanted to clarify that the R-77-1 is better than AIM-120A/B in every metric. Not sure if I misunderstood you, but the statement that the R-77-1 is on par with AIM-120A/B isn’t true. Also, I would be careful making any assumptions about my intentions behind my statements.
And I’m stating that the F-15/16 is literally better at every, single, thing compared to everything else in the game.
1 missile being marginally better would not cause them to be weak at all.
İt won’t make the 120A horrible.
Unlike how everything is horrible compared to 120A right now.
I think you’re preaching to the choir here. I’m hoping to see R-77-1 and AIM-120C added in December, I’ve stated this multiple times.
By the way, it is not “marginally” better. R-77-1 is better in every other way and by a good amount. The AIM-120A is worse in maneuverability compared to all other missiles as well as being bad at shotgunning others due to the abhorrent guidance delay. I will still agree though that the AIM-120A has a large imbalance compared to others in regard to BVR capability currently.
we need the AIM-120D-3 to balance with the typhoon’s meteor
Turn is the least important metric for a ARH missile imo.
Aim-120 cannot be dodged via turning at all in good launches
Yes, C-5 is already in the files.
Likely not this year’s final major update and rather next years first or midsummer update. Personally I dont think WT is ready for 120Cs and that we need to expand BRs between ground and air before we bring more advanced stuff into the game
you just want a a easy kill dont you.
Its 50% more thrust for the 1st stage booster. Or 17% more total impulse.
The R-77-1 if added in its current state would actually be similar to the AMRAAM in terms of range but will have 20-25% more acceleration for both the booster and sustainer. Only thing holding it back is its massive drag.
I doubt these models are close to finished though, the C-5 pretty much matches the Aim-120A in range.
