Well, after P2W Tiger with extra track armor have been added at the same or lower BR, it sure feels like it.
Yet in downtiers the Tiger is crazy effective against anything from 4.7-5.7.

A 4.7 T14 can one shot it through the cupola.
I would like to see how a US 76mm is going to pen a Tiger E that is just angled 33° anywhere from the front or a T-34-85 when the Tiger is hull down.
And who can kill you doesn’t matter when you are both harder to kill and it’s easier for you to kill the enemy.

At 300Ms you can shoot corner of the armor and go through its hard but 76 can do it you also get a stablizer giving you first shot cability and highly dont youll ever get perfect 33 degree angle just by eye alone its even easier for 85mms as they have amazing angle performance
you can also shoot turret ring which is only 85 mm thick and you have a stablizer making it easier
Dude, just put your gun near the edge of the armor plate and you have a perfectly angled Tiger.
It’s not that hard.
40° gives the best result for the front plate and upper sides, but leaves the lower sides vulnerable.
Still a small area to target.

It’s just there when you go to test-drive.
Any smart person shoots the spot he can penetrate. That doesn’t mean he is going to hit.
And just like a player might not angle the Tiger correct, the other player might judge the angle incorrectly and shoot where he can’t pen.
The IS-1/2s cupola is a weakspot but it’s not like anyone is going to snipe that with a single shot from 500m when the tank is on the move.
And it’s the same with a Tiger.
I was just in a battle with the Tiger E in a 6.7 match where I bounced like 5 shots and didn’t even know where the shots came from.
But I’m sure that these shots came from 600-1000m and just shows you how good the armor of the Tiger is when it’s not easy to hit one particular frontal weakspot.
But I feel like this now has turned into a discussion about the Tiger Es BR and not the IS-2 mod 1944.

Not sure what you’re trying to say.
The M6 has the 105mm overpressure cannon with much better reload and penetration.
So it should be a better IS-2.
That seems to be a game problem as it appears that soviet 45 mm tin cans can exaggeratingly deflect everything short of a 128 mm while something with much heavier armor (Tiger) cannot reproduce this in the game:

Not quite.
But on the other hand Tigers have 140mm thick mantlets, not 120mm.
It’s also cast and according to British tests offered protection as a 100mm plate.

Im not saying this is by design but its also not surprising that the soviet armour (which used abysmal quality steel) beats out all else
It should get all the nerfs, but with a br dummed down to 6.0 or 6.3 max with such ineffective armour schemes.
