Don’t think so
My report got Labels as dupe and kevs wasnt touched at all and is still labeld as missing info
While is blatant clear that the dev team used the wrong damn system (sls) to prove slm isnt smokeless
Yes, that happend. Smin siad they will talk about with the dev team about it. As there is no further feedback, it means devs either did not respond, doing research, or they are maintaing their position.
Not much we can do.
For example, I am stuck with radar part of dev team, that say ESA radars can’t reach more than 60 degree to one side, despite us having Rafale and Kifir C10 that reach 70, and SLM that reaches 80.
Would be peak clown behavior, ngl
Anything planned to solve the issue that I’m getting killed by ground units too often?
I mean, thats annoying? Why is this thing played as frontline unit? Most maps just don’t support this thing.
Why would there be a fix? Thats literally how SPAA has been handled since the start of time. The best way to deal with spaa is to go for them with a ground unit. If the height is the problem then its again nothing new as units like the Ito have had that problem since their release. Maps haven’t been updated to accommodate CAS and SPAA for years i doubt any changes will happen soon.
Do what everyone else does and hope your team catches everyone that slips by before they can kill you.
Just press switch vehicle button. Once done it will fixed after that. Sometimes this issue occur after you have used entire missile until 0 then refill your ammo using ammo crate.
This thing is still miserable to use, and it is still riddled with bugs since release, weird loft profiles, can’t fire sometimes, missiles that ignore what you fired at, DL that doesn’t work, IR guidance that doesn’t kick in when it should and so on.
It is wonderful when it works, but sometimes using the FlaRakRad feels way better.
why does IRIS-T SL lose Data link after IR lock is acquired??

no where is this stated in any source about the missile.
in fact, we have more pointing towards the fact that Datalink is maintained throughout the missiles flight time.
@Smin1080p_WT could it be possible that there is an Misunderstanding?
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/LzLqrPgjnBVH
As currently this occurs at every range above 3km
I mean, thats not the best source. Im quite sure there was a release that confirmed it maintained DL through its whole flight in direct words.
The missile always take a sharp turn regardless of how far the target is (the red square) then it only start lofting after completing that turn (the red circle) this behaviour is wrong, in reality and from what can be see in the videos the missile only make a sharp turn right from the start of the lunch to engage and hit close/ nearby targets or target that fly low, which in such scenarios the lofting isn’t necessary, but in long ranges and as can be see in the videos above and the second image in this comment (from Diehl promotion) the missile start lofting from the start it doesn’t make a turn and then start ascending, but instead it goes completely vertical till it reach the need altitude and only then it start turning to engage the target.
Huh… do you remember which one?
We could use it lol
Negative.
The response is straight out of TrickZZter’s mouth…
“flight path may vary”
just how incompetent do they think the Diehl engineers are?
like genuinely…
Honestly dev just gonna say it does not state that missile goes back to dl after fail acquire and just gonna close it
they better not because it clearly says DL is maintained all throughout. so whats it there for if not guidance (since the DL is two way)
This will be a buff acc to dev and they are not interested in either fixing slm or making it more useful as of rn just look at that loft profile or ir tracker eating flare like r60
