I mean i start to doubt my self too in the beginning but i always remember how smoky the SLS is, videos from Ukraine show that SLM to have some smoke to it but that’s only bc of the cold humid weather and the hot burning engine cause a vapor trial, but then you can see the trial slowly disappears once the missile make abit of distance

True, but on the Mods Pic the Smoke stays, and its worse than on an Roland missile xD

Yeee lol video is so low in quality and cut at the worst time that we can’t even see what system it is, all in all make you question if it’s even an IRIS-T at this point

Yup we have about 12 videos of the missile being launched in DC but we can’t send them bc it’s all in Ukraine

Usually you can post these pictures for reports as long as they don’t show faces, injured/dead people… and that it is apolitical.
It seems there is another misunderstanding. The mod in this report is showing SLS pictures as proof of SLM not having smokeless motor when they use different motors…

Send those questions in PM to the Technical Moderators instead, it’s best to not tag the Community Managers as they are already being tagged hundreds of times a day anyway. They are listed here ( Who is who and Reporting Procedure ) and if you don’t get an answer in a few days you can add more of them to the first message instead of sending a new one, that preserves the date of the message and doesn’t make it look like a new request (and in general, it’s better if the user that made the report is also the one sending that message as they can edit the report if necessary).

on more serious note, its frustrating, really.
getting confirmation from the manufacturer of weapon system is as close as we can get to true primary source without using classified documents.
But these are treated on same level as using wikipedia as source for some god forsaken reason.
