Now that is just amazing!

(They could do some sort of exchange, the right to use the image to some extent in exchange for all data they are allowed to give on the SLM 🤞)

Maybe the art team can cook an 8k version for that xD

While we are waiting to snail to notice that they have done something good, maybe we could ask them for the Lofting with an picture of how its currently in game (tacview side launch) and how many ps the 8x8 truck has since there is an chance that they have 200ps more than in game

That’s a pretty good idea. Can someone with a bit of Authority here contact [email protected] or [email protected] about the whole thing, if not happened already?

I can do, but maybe dont post the mails in the forum

It’s OP in game ha ha

Its the 16 missiles and the fire and forget nature.
In a Typhoon and had just taken off and was dodging these missiles while I was on the deck.

I know it should be deadlier but then aircraft should have ECCM and IIR counter measures and ARMs :P

For an normal IR seeker as it currently is? Yea no…

How many G’s does the missile pull in the downwards turn directly after launch?

Mail is send, 4 Questions included
A: Lofting
B: Reverse speed
C: Engine PS
D: SLM Cabine any Armor?

Lets see if he can answer any of these

Not that much I would think as it’s still going slow in that phase (initial acceleration still underperforming btw. judging from video of real launches). The dive at the end on the other hand bleeds speed excessively as it turns down with around 15g for multiple seconds and there is no sustainer anymore to offset this during this phase in most cases.

Why can’t it directly go up

Because the “vertical → horizontal” phase before the loft is hardcoded for whatever reason. It is always done no matter the height or distance of the target and it will always be in the direction the target had the moment of launch and not the direction of the calculated interception point.
This also leads to funny things like the missile pulling an AoA of 80-90° after the “vertical → horizontal” phase if the target is very close.
