Iris-t slm

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate you taking the time.

So I guess we have to get lucky with who is currently online for our reports to go through then :D

As secondary / 3rd party sources. The first one is an Authored work using existing public sources.

Hey smin, just want to say thank you for respondig to the thread.

But i gotta ask

Why even allow for people that are not technical moderators handle bug reports about vehicle/ weapon performance?

As we also have:

the link provided mentions air launched iris-t ,not ground launched one thats the issue. a vertically launched missile from ground level would bleed more speed than an air launched missile (at high alt). i think the slm should easily be able to reach mach 3 irl due to it being a bigger missile but ig gaijin cant find a primary source so they are maybe intentionally nerfing it.

man you are fast at finding these, i was about to say i found something new but you already posted it in your last edit

pretty accurate

I really hope this leads to iris-t geting fixed before release as its current state is quite sad to what it can be ( especially munition interception )

so i did some calculations with mach 2 speed and it won’t reach 40 km and plummet at around 36(don’t know missile burn time so this may change) but assuming how fast missiles decelerate in WT it prob won’t reach 30 km

atleast it was worth it

looks like 3 secondary sources? lets hope it works now. could have also used 1503 pdf from luftvarn.se has same values as first source

I don’t think they will accept 1 or even 2 of them as secondary sources. They dismissed ones just like them as unusable.

Maybe we get lucky and 1 is accepted, because they already accepted another one from another report.

We might just need to combine those reports and put both valid sources into a single report.

we just need an tech mod who actually handles it, who also speaks the languages/or knows how to translate stuff correctly

https://www.luftvarn.se/vlv/1503.pdf this one is the already accepted seconday source correct?

It includes the same spread sheet so it’s likely from the same source, yeah.

this wouldnt pass as a source woult it ?
